A company is looking for a Data Bricks Developer.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze existing reporting systems and assess compatibility with Databricks
Design data models on Databricks by converting SQL queries into optimized SparkSQL or PySpark code
Develop and execute migration strategies for reports while ensuring data integrity and accuracy
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Strong proficiency in SQL and in-depth knowledge of the Apache Spark ecosystem
Hands-on experience with Databricks and familiarity with Delta Lake or similar technologies
Experience in data migration and transformation projects
Experience with Azure Databricks or other cloud-based platforms is preferred
