This role requires hands on experience and the ability to operate independently from day one.The ideal candidate has solid experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, ERP systems, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Excel. This individual must be capable of maintaining clean, accurate books and supporting month end close with minimal supervision.This role requires strong technical skill and strong personal ownership who is detail oriented, direct, and comfortable holding both customers and internal team members accountable when financial information or payments are overdue. Someone who takes initiative, follows through consistently, and does not wait to be told to act. This position requires confidence, clarity, and a high standard of responsibility.This is not an entry level role. We are seeking someone who understands accounting principles and can ensure financial accuracy in a manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesEnter financial data and transactionsAnalyze budgets and other financial informationReconcile bank statementsPrepare financial reports and statementsVerify the accuracy of transactions that have been enteredProcess accounts payable and accounts receivableCreate accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulationsProcess payrollReconcile ERP reports to QuickBooksProvide management with clear financial visibilitySystems and Process • Work within ERP systems to ensure accurate data flow • Identify inefficiencies and improve accounting processes • Proactively follow up with internal team members when information is required • Maintain strong internal controls and accountability standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or a related fieldManufacturing Experience PreferredPrevious experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar positionKnowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systemsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
