Physical Therapist Location: Delta, CO Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $2,203 to $2,397 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title Physical Therapist - In Patient-Swing Bed Days, Rehab City/State: Delta, Colorado Shift: Monday-Friday 8 hr/day shifts, 08:00:00-16:00:00 Contract Length: 91 weeks Start Date: 03/19/2026 Job Description: Under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Director, the Staff Therapist is accountable for the administration of Physical Therapy to patients from pediatric to geriatric. The goal of therapy is to improve the patient's functional ability. Responsibilities: Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription. Administer manual exercises and assist patients in performing physical activities and using assistive and supportive devices. Administer physical therapy treatments by giving massages, initiating traction, and applying physical agents. Evaluate effects of treatments and recommend adjustments and modifications as needed. Complete discharge planning and design home exercise programs. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications. Develop physical therapy staff by providing information and conducting in-service training programs. Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Requirements: Possession of a Physical Therapy License issued by the State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies. BLS required. Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of dysfunctions, and customer service skills. Knowledge of human behavior, performance, learning, and motivation. Knowledge of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
