Family Nurse Practitioner

NEW GRADS WELCOME! FULL TIME OR PART TIME POSITION AVAILABLE DUTIES: Obtains a detailed history and performs physical examination on all patients. Documents history, exam, and assessment in medical record appropriately. Orders ancillary services such as x-ray, labs, etc., interpreting and evaluating the results. Under direction of physician or other medical personnel, administers medication to patients. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide efficient quality patient care. Evaluates and improves nursing practices and recommends modifications. Responds to and intervenes in emergency situations such as prophylaxis, hypoglycemia, hypertension, hemorrhage, respiratory distress, etc. Prescribes appropriate treatments following established clinic protocols. Educates and counsels patients and their families on all aspects of patients' treatments.
