Head Lifeguard

Job Title: Lead Lifeguard Location: Bent Tree Country Club Position Type: Full-Time About Us: Bent Tree Country Club is a premier club dedicated to providing exceptional service and facilities to our members. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Lifeguard to join our team and ensure the safety and enjoyment of our pool area. Job Description: The Lead Lifeguard will oversee all lifeguard activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our members and guests. This role involves supervising lifeguards, conducting training sessions, maintaining pool safety standards, and providing emergency response when necessary. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the lifeguard team, including performance evaluations. Conduct regular training sessions and safety drills for lifeguards. Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests. Enforce pool rules and regulations. Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance. Inspect and maintain lifeguard equipment and pool facilities. Assist with planning and coordinating pool events and activities. Provide excellent customer service to members and guests. Qualifications: Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent). CPR and First Aid Certification. Minimum of 2-3 years of lifeguarding experience. Must be able to work July-September. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations. High level of physical fitness and stamina. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
