Manager, Quality AssuranceJoin Komatsu and Be Part of Something Big!Job OverviewDevelop, implement, maintain & manage the Quality Assurance programs and practices that will provide products of high reliability, durability and quality and to provide direction to Product Support of the type of support that is needed for our product, our customers and market.Key Job ResponsibilitiesInitiate & manage Juhin / QA meetings and Quality activity plans to improve quality of products.Develop annual and long-range warranty budgets and action plans. Manage and control gross warranty expenses within the financial plan.Establish targets for Quality Assurance indices and direct/manage programs and activities to achieve the targets.Manage all aspects of the PMO Field Campaign including initial draft, parts procurement and shipment, field release, and on-going monitoring of campaign completion rateDirect all departments within the KMD Group in the use of the Corporate Quality Assurance processes and indices and to improve customer satisfaction. Set targets and goals.Control an annual capacity cost budget to be within the financial plan.Qualifications/RequirementsBS/BA degree in Engineering or Quality Management and 5+ years of working experience in a Manufacturing organization or 10+ years of working experience in a Manufacturing organization.Minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality assurance or quality control.Knowledge of mining equipment, Komatsu products preferred.Strong written and oral communication skills are of utmost importance.Managerial, motivational and communication skills as well as ability to interface with all levels of employees a must.Strong computer software / database knowledge and applicationHiring RangeAt Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $105,600.
