Make a mark in your classroom by nurturing students to their greatest potential, guide the preparation of activities in developmental areas in accordance with Montessori philosophy and care for children in a kind, sensitive and respectful manner. Work directly with the Lead Teacher, Head of School & Owner to create and maintain a Montessori environment. Weekly mentoring with an experienced Montessori guide and former head of school.
Montessori training including certification is paid by the employer so your career advancement is unlimited.
Qualifications:
Satisfy school/state health requirements, including immunizations, physical, and drug screening.
Provide necessary documentation to confirm qualifications including a minimum of three references, diplomas, transcripts, fingerprints and criminal background check approval.
Educational Characteristics:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience with young children (preferred)
Experience:
Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
CPR/First Aid Certification required.
Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
