Torts & Products Liability Litigation AttorneyLocation: California (Remote)Salary Range: USD $120,000 – $275,000 (final offer based on experience, skills, and location) + BonusHours: 1900Benefits: Exceptional benefits plan, details to followAbout The RoleOur client, a national law firm with a presence in all 50 states, is seeking attorneys to join its Torts & Products Liability / General Liability litigation team. This is a remote-based position in California, though the attorney must be licensed in California and may be asked to attend in-person meetings or court appearances in nearby offices on occasion.The firm is open to candidates of varying experience levels, though preference will be given to those with two or more years of experience in tort, products liability, or general liability litigation.ResponsibilitiesHandle all phases of litigation for tort, general liability, and products liability matters, from pleadings to resolution.Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.Conduct legal research, factual investigation, and analysis to support strategy and case development.Participate in depositions, examinations of experts, and document-intensive discovery.Coordinate with senior litigators and co-counsel on complex, multi-district, mass tort, or class action matters.Advise and represent clients across industries (e.g. automotive, consumer goods, aerospace, financial services) in high-stakes disputes.Collaborate with a senior trial attorney who has deep experience trying complex product liability cases to verdict, learning from their methods and judgment.QualificationsMust be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.California residency is required; candidates must be able to operate under a fully remote or hybrid arrangement.Ideally, 2+ years of relevant defense litigation experience in tort, products liability, general liability, catastrophic torts, or related fields.Strong academic credentials and demonstrated excellence in legal writing, analysis, and research.Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting, while staying connected with the firm’s broader litigation team.Experience in mass tort, MDL, class actions, or cross-discipline litigation is a plus.Why This PositionWork remotely while handling high-caliber, national-level litigation matters.The chance to collaborate with and be mentored by a seasoned trial attorney who has tried sophisticated product liability cases to verdict.Exposure to a wide variety of industries and claim types, including high-stakes and “bet-the-company” disputes.Access to robust support (litigation resources, document management, research, expert coordination) typically found in top-tier firms.Competitive compensation, full benefits, and long-term growth potential.
