Software Engineering Manager II
Overview:
In this role you guide architecture and delivery for the PTE Data Warehouse and MIND NextGen, driving AI-enabled improvements to the user experience. You lead a distributed engineering team, partnering with Pixel, Wearables Testing, and SDT to unify the data ecosystem and build scalable, automated intelligence solutions. You shape the team roadmap, OKRs, and platform-level scaling while maintaining a supportive, inclusive culture. Responsibilities:
- Direct architectural design of PTE Data Warehouse and MIND NextGen systems
- Drive AI integration and agentic quality intelligence solutions
- Secure scalable, resilient ETL pipelines and data workflows
- Manage and coach US-based engineers with career development plans
- Lead bug triage, on-call rotations, and design reviews
- Partner with Pixel and Wearables Testing and SDT to unify the data ecosystem
- Lead team roadmap and OKRs to evolve into a platform-level scaling engine
- Mentor distributed engineering team and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver impact
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 8 years of software development experience 3 years in a technical leadership role 2 years in people management or team leadership
