Construction Sales Executive

The View From the Water TowerThe Construction Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new construction and renovation projects. This role focuses on developing relationships with owners, developers, general contractors, architects, and other key decision-makers while managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution.Dive In! Your Key Responsibilities & DutiesBusiness Development & SalesIdentify and pursue new construction opportunities in commercial office, industrial, retail and hospitality industries Develop and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leadsConduct client meetings, site visits, and presentationsPrepare and deliver proposals and bid packagesNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close profitable dealsConsistent and results driven networking Client Relationship ManagementBuild long-term relationships with developers, owners (end users), general contractors, architects, and property managers among othersAct as the primary point of contact during sales phaseCollaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoffMaintain high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat clientsMarket & Competitive IntelligenceTrack market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming projectsAttend industry events, trade shows, and networking functionsMaintain accurate CRM records and sales forecastsInternal CollaborationWork closely with estimating, design, procurement, construction project managers, and accounting department Ensure proposals align with company capabilities, margins, and schedulesSupport strategic planning and revenue forecasting effortsWhat You Bring3+ years of sales or business development experience in construction or a related industryStrong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project delivery methodsProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsAbility to read plans at a high level, understand scope, and communicate process and timeline with support from project management teamExcellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft office (Outlook and CRM) along with Excel If You Bring These, Even Better!Experience selling commercial construction, specialty trades, or design-build servicesExisting network of industry contactsAbility to manage multiple opportunities simultaneouslyWork EnvironmentThe position is primarily an office-based position with travel required to find and close new business, visit job sites, and attend industry related events.Why Coakley?At Coakley Brothers and Brothers Interiors, we believe that exceptional customer service begins with how we treat each other.
