Job Summary: The Mailroom Operator is responsible for operating high volume, envelope inserter equipment. Operator keeps work area in order and staged. Process high volume of mail dailyDuties and Responsibilities:Operate mailroom equipmentMaintain accurate documentation and logsPerform accurate quality assurance checksDeliver mail to local post officePerform other duties as assignedEducation and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent, machine experience a plusKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong communication skillsStrong attendance is a mustOrganized with the ability to multitaskStrong attention to detail requiredStrong troubleshooting skills requiredGood computer and writing skills are a mustAbility to stay focused and work in a team environment Strong ability to follow policy and proceduresAbility to work in a teamValid driver’s license Work Environment:The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
