Field Service TechnicianJoin our team as a Field Service Technician where you will visit customer sites to install CO2 monitors. This role involves light, low voltage work, akin to installing fire alarms in commercial settings. The position has arisen due to new CO2 regulations, and you will be installing monitors directly into systems using CAT 5 cabling.ResponsibilitiesTravel to various customer sites to install CO2 monitors.Conduct installations using CAT 5 cabling.Pick up materials from the shop or depot using your reliable vehicle.Use tools such as drills, wire snips, pliers, and crimps.Ensure attention to detail in running wires.Document installations and mileage using a smartphone.Explain installation purposes and processes to customers on site.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years of experience in light construction or mechanical/electrical work.Experience in troubleshooting and thinking independently on the job site.Ability to use a smartphone for GPS, documentation, and expense tracking.Comfortable interfacing with customers and handling queries.Additional Skills & QualificationsLow voltage or light electrical experience is beneficial.Experience driving for work purposes.Possess necessary tools and a ladder for installations.No certifications are required.Why Work Here?Experience a relaxed and flexible work culture that allows you to set your schedule when performing site work. Work hours are from 7am to 3pm, with occasional visits to the Springfield office for materials.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Springfield, OR.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
