Noninstructional/Support - Position Job Number 3700269873 Start Date Open Date 05/05/2026 Closing Date 05/11/2026 The Hourly Technology Programmer supports the Department of Early Learning by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing technology systems that support instructional programs and daily operations. This role provides front-line technical assistance to staff across district-wide programs, including Pre-K (PK), 21st Century Community Learning Centers, and district-level EDEP and Title IV initiatives. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining computers and peripheral equipment, supporting user accounts and access permissions, and assisting with system updates and device imaging. The position plays a key role in managing technology inventory, tracking assets, and ensuring compliance with district policies related to data security, acceptable use, and equipment management. The programmer responds to help desk requests, diagnoses technical issues, and implements timely solutions while escalating complex concerns as needed. Additional duties include supporting instructional software, maintaining testing environments, ensuring network and printer functionality, and providing basic technical guidance to staff.
