Job Summary
This employee will be reporting directly to the COO and working closely with the Shop Foreman, Scheduler, Quality Manager, Purchasing Manager, Outside Sales Team, and other Project Managers. Multi-tasking efficiently and communicating effectively is necessary. Must have strong understanding of machining & weld processes, estimating of cycle times, outsourcing (i.e. heat treat/anodizing) and raw material requirements. Strong customer relations, ERP/Computer skills, blueprint reading/structured BOM’s, and interpretation of quality requirements is necessary. Understanding of quality systems ISO9001:2015 and/or AS9100D a plus.
Responsibilities
Job routing, quoting, sales, maintaining and growing existing accounts, adding new accounts, customer communication, job follow-up/tracking and review of profitability.
Manage and maintain specialized customer requirements and keep all relating internal files and records up-to-date.
Participate in weekly production meetings with the management team to discuss on-going jobs, projects, quotes, and resources. Work towards pro-active solutions and growth.
Work with Scheduler and Shop Foreman to review production schedule, including incoming jobs and processes for most effective and efficient outcomes.
Other
Project Manager will have their own office and workstation.
Compensation is base salary plus sales commission.
Potential bonuses depending on overall account profitability.
