We're remodeling our storeBigger & better!Join the Team!SUMMARYThe Appliance Installer is responsible for delivering and professionally installing household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ovens. You'll represent the ACE brand in customers' homes and ensure each installation is safe, clean, and meets customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver and install major household appliances at customer locationsFollow installation guidelines and safety procedures for each productTest appliances to ensure proper operation after installationProvide basic product usage instructions to customersRemove and properly dispose of old appliances as neededMaintain cleanliness and care of the company vehicle and toolsCommunicate effectively with customers and store staff regarding delivery/installation schedulesHandle customer concerns professionally and promptlyCandidate must pass a background check to be considered for employmentKEY ATTRIBUTES EPA Certification or related trade certificationExperience with gas and water line connectionsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in appliance installation, general contracting, or delivery preferredBasic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to lift and move heavy appliances (50-100 lbs)Valid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to work independently and manage time efficiently SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilities EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED);One to three months related experience and/or training;Or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write warranty claims and service tickets.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic math concepts such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication.
