Avionics Field Service Technician

Avionics Field Service TechnicianTrillium Professional is now seeking an Avionics Field Service Technician to cover the Western USA (WA, OR, CA, and other western states)! This is a direct-hire fulltime position. Remote plus travel to client sites - 50 to 75% of the time (From a few days to a few weeks of travel duration). Salary Range $100k-135k - commensurate to fielded experience. Must be living in the western US and will be working in the West coast and Western US. Will travel initially to Bradenton, FL for training. Requirements: -Avionics Tech with 10 years' avionics tech experience. -The Avionics Field Service Tech will be training, repairs and installs on customer sites -Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and system block diagrams -Diagnosing issues using onboard equipment diagnostics -Signal Analysis using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and multi-meters -Understanding frequency and time domain signals, impedance matching, etc. -Knowledge of avionics standards -Knowledge of interfacing protocols e.g. RS232, RS422, CAN, Ethernet and MIL-1553 -Electrical troubleshooting -Power distribution systems, short/open circuits, etc. -Software and firmware debugging wrt installed equipment -Must have some basic understanding of mechanical and able to craft small items on site -Active military involvement a bonus. Type of equipment worked on: -Navigation systems (INS, GPS) and antenna's -Communication systems -VHF/UHF radios, SATCOM systems, HF transceivers, transponders -Flight control systems -Auto-pilot and flight management systems -Electronics displays -AC/DC power generation systems -Environmental control systems (cabin pressure and temperature) -Radar systems -Data systems (ARINC, cockpit voice recorders, data recorders) Trillium has been recruiting and placing clerical and office professionals for over 30 years.
