Pathologist
PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join our collaborative team serving a key regional hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. This full-time, hospital-based role offers a rewarding mix of general surgical pathology, cytopathology, and clinical pathology responsibilities within a collegial environment. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented physician with excellent diagnostic and communication skills.

About the Practice:
Moderate-to-high volume pathology service supporting a 400+ bed medical center
Mix of surgical pathology, cytopathology, and CP duties (blood bank, microbiology, chemistry oversight)

Key Responsibilities:
General surgical pathology and cytopathology case sign-out
Frozen section and intraoperative consultation services
Clinical pathology coverage and oversight responsibilities
Participation in tumor boards and clinical meetings
Commitment to maintaining high diagnostic accuracy and service standards
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility
Eligible for Mississippi medical license
Excellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Strong commitment to teamwork and high-quality patient care
