Assistant General Counsel/Trademark Counsel-Fashion Brands leader

Our client, a dynamic New York City based fashion brands company, is seeking a mid-level IP lawyer to join their growing legal team, focusing on drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts and trademark licensing. This person will interact with senior management on a regular basis and will work independently with limited supervision. Local candidates only as the client will not relocate. Please note they require employees in the office on a full time basis.Responsibilities for this role will include the following:-Draft & negotiate various types of commercial agreements including marketing, talent, vendor and e-commerce contracts-Trademark licensing-Mergers & AcquisitionsSuccessful candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be considered:-Four to six years of strong trademark licensing experience, ideally representing brand/fashion licensing and royalties with a major law firm-A strong business acumen
