That same pursuit of excellence defines everything we do.Travis Pointe Country Club, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for a Maintenance Support Technician. Built in 1977, Travis Pointe is one of the state's elite private clubs, featuring four season amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, 4 indoor courts and outdoor large tennis complex, aquatics facility, indoor golf simulators, and a fitness center.Travis Pointe has hosted the LPGA Volvik Championship, as well as numerous tournaments throughout the years, including the EPSON Tour, the Michigan Amateur Championship, the Women's Western Amateur, the Women's Michigan Open, US Mid-Amateur qualifying, and numerous US Open and US Senior Open qualifiers.The Maintenance Support Technician will play a key role in maintaining the facility's plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and cleanliness. This position works both independently and collaboratively with their team and other departments, all while enhancing their skills and ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable facility.Primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Support Technician at Travis Pointe Country Club include:Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility's equipment and systems.Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility.Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.REQUIRED SKILLSPool Maintenance experience or the willingness to learn pool care and upkeep procedures.Team-Oriented Mindset: Ability to collaborate with colleagues across departments andcontribute to team success.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly andefficiently.Attention to Detail: Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and the aesthetic standards of the club.Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members,management, and club members.Customer Service: A friendly and helpful attitude when interacting with club members andguests.Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.Safety Conscious: Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations related to cleaningchemicals, tools, and equipment.Flexible & Adaptable: Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and assist in other areas of theclub when needed.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTSProlonged periods of standing and walking.Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds at a time.
