Join us!Work Location: 3801 W 15th St, Suite 150A Plano, TX 75075Work Hours: (Part-Time) Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays 8:00am-4:30pm (1-2 Saturdays per month depending on Center needs)The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.Department/Center HighlightsPatient-Focused TeamCohesive and Friendly EnvironmentSupportive and Encouraging AtmosphereHere Is What You Will NeedTexas Medical Board License - TMBCurrent ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic TechnologyContinuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.A Day In The Life Of a Mammography TechnologistProvide services and support for the following areas:Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis WayConsistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;Performs other work-related duties as assigned.Why Solis Mammography?
