Litigation Paralegal (Remote) – Toxic Tort DefenseHugo Parker, LLP is a defense civil litigation law firm located in the San Francisco Financial District, representing clients in complex toxic tort and other civil litigation matters throughout California. We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Litigation Paralegal (Remote) to join our team in a full-time role supporting active, high‑exposure, complex litigation.This position is well suited for an experienced toxic tort paralegal who can work independently, exercise sound judgment in fast‑moving matters, and contribute as a trusted member of a collaborative litigation team – all in a remote environment.The Role:The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys on all phases of toxic tort litigation, including asbestos, silicosis, and other exposure‑based matters. This role involves a high degree of autonomy and ownership, including managing assigned cases and supporting litigation through discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.Responsibilities include:Managing multiple toxic tort cases simultaneouslySupporting fact and expert discoveryAssisting with motion practice and trial preparationMaintaining organized, accurate case files and litigation calendarsCoordinating with attorneys, clients, and opposing counselQualifications:Minimum of three years of experience in toxic tort litigation in a law firm settingStrong organizational, communication, and time‑management skillsDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and litigation deadlines with minimal supervisionExceptional attention to detail and high-quality work productProficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro, Westlaw, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Familiarity with legal case management and document management systemsProfessional Attributes:Dependable, detail‑oriented, and self‑directedComfortable working under pressure in a deadline‑driven litigation environmentProfessional, responsive, and effective communicatorCollaborative team player Remote Work Expectations:Ability to work independently in a remote settingReliable internet connection and secure home workspaceAvailability during core Pacific Time business hoursCompensation & Position Details:Full‑time remote position with comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement optionsSalary starting at $90,000 per year, commensurate with experienceInterested candidates should submit a resume and desired salary range
