Job Title: Cook Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team for 2-4 shifts per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in an assisted living environment while adhering to food safety standards. No late nights! Day shift is 6:30 am - 2:30 pm and afternoon shift is 11 am - 7 pm. Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and dietary requirements - Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, cutting, and marinating ingredients - Ensure all food is cooked to perfection and presented attractively - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area - Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations - Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to safety standards Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in the food industry - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment - Understanding of food safety practices - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Certification in food handling is a plus If you are passionate about cooking and have experience in the food service industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
