Operations Manager – Stone Cloud Design + BuildAbout Stone CloudStone Cloud Design + Build is a boutique, high-end residential firm specializing in architecturally significant custom homes in Denver’s most sought-after neighborhoods.We operate a fully integrated model—real estate, design, and construction—delivering a design-first product with a strong emphasis on execution, detail, and client experience.The RoleWe are seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to own the day-to-day operational systems of the company.This is a high-responsibility role, not an executive position. You will be the person who ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes—contracts, financial workflows, documentation, and internal systems.You will work closely with ownership and the project team, and are expected to operate with a high level of independence, organization, and accountability.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & AdministrationOwn contracts, change orders, and document workflows (DocuSign, Box)Manage subcontractor compliance, insurance tracking, and project documentationMaintain organization and consistency across all company systemsFinancial CoordinationOversee billing, invoicing, and A/R + A/P in QuickBooksTrack project-level financials with the Project ManagerCoordinate with CPA/controller on reporting and job costingProject SupportWork closely with Project Manager and Construction Manager on change orders and documentationEnsure all project paperwork is accurate, complete, and timelySupport client-facing documentation and communicationProcess & SystemsMaintain and improve internal systems (Smartsheet or similar)Identify inefficiencies and implement better workflowsHelp standardize processes across projectsWhat We’re Looking ForExtremely organized and detail-orientedStrong sense of ownership and follow-throughComfortable managing multiple moving parts at onceExperience in construction, real estate, or a project-based business preferredAble to work independently and keep things on track without constant oversightMust be comfortable owning details end-to-end without follow-up — this role requires someone who naturally closes loopsIf you prefer highly structured environments with constant direction, this is not the right roleExperience with QuickBooks or similar account software preferredRole StructureThis is intended to be a full-time, in-office role, working closely with the team.Some flexibility is available once systems and workflows are fully understood.Compensation$85,000 – $105,000 base salary, depending on experience and capabilityPerformance-based bonus tied to company and role successHiring ProcessWe move quickly in our hiring process and are prepared to make a decision as soon as we find the right person.
