This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence project outcomes from the ground up and grow within a thriving organization dedicated to excellence in construction.DutiesReview detailed project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive cost estimatesUtilize estimating software such as FieldWire and Active Takeoff to prepare accurate bid proposalsConduct site visits to gather on-the-ground insights for precise cost calculations and project assessmentsNegotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure favorable pricing and termsReview RFIs, addendums, and bid documentsCollaborate with project managers and construction teams to align estimates with project scope, schedule, and budget goalsMonitor costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgets and implement cost control measures when necessaryPrepare detailed bid packages, contracts, and proposals that clearly outline scope of work, pricing, and timelinesRequirementsProven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of construction management principlesProficiency in estimating tools such as Fieldwire, Takeoff, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant softwareSolid knowledge of construction site operations, contracts, and project management processesExcellent negotiation skills to secure competitive prices while fostering positive relationships with vendors and subcontractorsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accuratelyEffective communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholdersPrior experience in cost control, pricing strategies, and managing construction budgets is highly desirableAbility to work full-time and meet deadlinesBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not requiredPreferred ExperienceCommercial meta framing and drywall projectsHospitals, gyms, retails stores, banks, and tenant improvements.Experience with PlanHub, Procore, or similar platformsEmbark on a career where your skills make a tangible impact!
