The selected developer will help modernize complex systems, strengthen cloud security, and deliver resilient capabilities across highly sensitive environments.The Senior Cloud Developer will design cloud service-delivery models and architectural frameworks, implement automation using DevSecOps best practices, and support a robust hybrid-cloud infrastructure that provides the backbone for secure, high-bandwidth services.This is a hands-on development role for someone who wants to solve difficult technical problems and see their work directly support an important national security mission.Key Responsibilities:Develop cloud service-delivery models and architectural frameworks supporting PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS solutionsImplement cloud-resource automation using DevSecOps best practicesBuild secure cloud capabilities that directly support FBI operational requirementsAnalyze applications and recommend appropriate strategies for cloud migrationDevelop failure-recovery, resiliency, availability, and cost-optimization strategiesBuild cloud-native applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to cloud environmentsDebug cloud stacks and manage policies governing the use of cloud servicesEstablish secure cloud environments and design for appropriate uptime and availabilityIndependently design and develop new software products for cloud environmentsEnhance existing cloud software for improved performance and scalabilityParticipate in Program Increment planning and Agile Release Train activitiesSupport multi-enclave environments spanning unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret networksCollaborate with infrastructure, security, and application-development teams to ensure seamless integrationDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure cloud deploymentsImplement monitoring, logging, and cloud-security controlsRequired Qualifications:Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence PolygraphU.S. citizenshipBachelor's or master's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, associate degree with at least 11 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with at least 14 years of relevant experienceExperience working within the SAFe Agile frameworkStrong understanding of cloud-security requirements in government environmentsExperience with AWS GovCloud, SC2S, or C2S cloud platformsExperience with Infrastructure as Code using TerraformExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience implementing cloud-security controlsExperience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesExperience with cloud monitoring and logging solutionsAbility to work full-time onsite in Chantilly, Virginia Desired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI PolygraphBachelor's degree in computer science, cloud computing, engineering, or a related fieldAWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or a comparable cloud certificationDevelopment experience with Python, .NET, C#, or other modern programming languagesExperience with DevSecOps tools and practicesExperience designing and supporting microservices architecturesExperience implementing API Gateway solutionsExperience with Elasticsearch, Splunk, or similar data platformsExperience with SAFe Agile methodologies and Agile Release TrainsKnowledge of cloud cost-optimization techniquesExperience integrating hybrid-cloud and on-premises environmentsExperience with serverless technologies, including AWS Lambda and S3Experience with database services such as Amazon RDS and DynamoDBKnowledge of cloud networking, VPC design, and configurationFamiliarity with government security-accreditation processesAdvanced experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
