Final Assembly Operator

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Pro-Active Engineering is looking for a Final AssemblyOperator. This position is responsible for supervising productionemployees within their assigned area while performing the work requiredfor specific specialized assignments. The position follows standard workmethods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is asEfficient And Safe As Possible. Essential Functions 1. Trimming,clipping, tinning of wires and leads. 2. Assemble wire harnesses andribbon cables to PCB assemblies. 3. Final box build assembly using handand power tools. 4. Solder thru-hole components and wires per IPC-A-610class 2 standards. 5. In process inspection of thru-hole components toclass 2 standards. 6. Work toward continuous improvement of assignedarea. 7. Follow internal assembly process documentation ensuring productmeets internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. 8. Ensure workarea is kept clean and free of debris. Competencies OrganizationalSkills Time Management Attention to Detail Teamwork Oriented TechnicalCapacity Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, theemployee is regularly required to sit, use hands, reach with hands andarms, use fine hand motor skills/dexterity, use repetitive motions, andlift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities required bythis job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheralVision, Depth Perception Required Education And Experience High Schooldiploma or equivalent (GED) Knowledge of electronic components andequipment. Ability to perform basic thru-hole component soldering onprinted circuit boards to IPC standards. Experience and ability to workIn a Fast-paced Manufacturing Environment. Preferred Education AndExperience Associate\'s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology orEquivalent. Strong Mechanical Aptitude.
