DOCSIS EngineerOn-site | Denver, Colorado | PermanentWe’re hiring a Docsis Expert with strong CPE software development experience to support customer engagements and guide product development across North America.ResponsibilitiesPresent DOCSIS technology and product roadmap to customersGuide customers during product definition and technical decision phasesSupport hardware design choices including SoC selection and cost-driven architectureGuide software engineering teams during design and developmentSet up and maintain a DOCSIS lab environment (local and remote)Build test plans to validate product functionality and performanceReproduce, investigate, and resolve issues with engineering teams, chipset vendors, and customersConduct internal training and maintain technical knowledge documentationRepresent the company in standardisation groups and interoperability eventsTrack chipset vendor roadmaps and evaluate new solutionsWhat You Will BringDeep understanding of DOCSIS 3.0, 3.1, and 4.0 (PHY, MULPI, OSS, LLD, SEC)Strong experience with provisioning (SNMP, DHCP, TFTP, TOD), TLVs, PKI, and firmware upgradesAbility to analyse MAC layer packet capturesHands-on experience with CPE and/or headend environments (CMTS, RPD, RMD)Solid knowledge of PacketCable (1.x, 2.0), SIP voice provisioningExperience in embedded software developmentStrong debugging capability (gdb, strace, tcpdump)Strong networking knowledge (IPv4/IPv6, NAT, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, HTTP/HTTPS)Experience with Wireshark, spectrum analysis, CM logs, SNMP trapsKnowledge of TR-069, TR-181, USP (DPOE/OMCI a plus)If this is a role you would excel at Apply Now!
