Dependable Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment supporting rural Tribal and Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities in Northern Arizona. This is a unique opportunity to practice at the top of your license while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities.Assignment Details:Start Date: June 29, 2026Duration: 13 weeks (extension potential)Settings: Outpatient & InpatientSchedule: Monday- Friday 8-5pmWhat We Offer:Competitive weekly payLodging providedTravel expense reimbursementKey Responsibilities:Dispense medications and provide patient counseling on safe, effective useConduct outpatient pharmacy clinics—assess patients, adjust treatment plans, and monitor outcomesReview inpatient and outpatient medication therapy for safety, appropriateness, and effectivenessCollaborate with providers and nursing staff to optimize medication useReview and verify chemotherapy treatment plans, ensuring safe dosing and administrationProvide drug information and clinical guidance to healthcare teamsParticipate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to therapeutic decision-makingRespond to emergencies (Code Blue, trauma) with dosing, preparation, and administration supportPerform therapeutic drug monitoring and evaluate medication regimens for optimal outcomesEducate and train pharmacy staff, students, and healthcare professionalsSupervise pharmacy technicians and support daily pharmacy operationsMaintain accurate documentation, including clinical interventions and patient recordsParticipate in disaster preparedness and response activitiesEnsure compliance with infection control protocols, including proper PPE use and decontamination proceduresMaintain proficiency with pharmacy systems and workflowsRequirements:Active Arizona Pharmacist License (in good standing)Current MMR, HepB, Varicella titersCurrent TB test & TdapAHA BLS certificationStrong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skillsAt Dependable Staffing, we’ve proudly supported Arizona healthcare since 1996—connecting pharmacists with rewarding opportunities across the state.Interested?
