3rd Shift Slasher Operator

The slasher operator is a customer of warping and supplier to the weaving and entering departments. The operator is responsible for producing the highest quality warps, while running efficiently. He/she will mix size according to formula while also making sure that temperature and time requirements have been met. He/she will set machines, make adjustments when need, and monitor the machine throughout the slashing process and also handle and transport materials (e.g., beams). Slasher operator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of his/her machine at all times, following weekly TPM cleaning and audit schedule, and using the lock out tag out program. He/she will complete all paperwork and computer-based information systems.
