Senior Python Developer

Title : Sr. Python DeveloperDuration - 6 to 12 Months + Location - New York City , NYWork Mode - Hybrid - 4 Days onsite and 1 Day Remote Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable server-side logic, microservices, and RESTful APIs.System Architecture: Participate in high-level software design, ensuring applications are secure, maintainable, and performant.Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices across the engineering team.Integration & Testing: Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to build robust integrations.Optimization: Troubleshoot system bottlenecks, write comprehensive unit tests, and optimize databases and application speeds.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: Typically 5 to 8+ years of proven experience as a Python developer and minimum 2 years in Cold Fusion in enterprise or production environments.Core Languages & Frameworks: Advanced proficiency in Python. Hands-on experience with frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask.Databases: Strong understanding of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, including ORM usage and query optimization.Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managing CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.Soft Skills: Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication, and a proven track record of cross-functional team collaboration.EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related engineering field.
