Senior Software EngineerI’m looking for a Software Engineer 3 to work on satellite ground systems and mission planning software in Redondo Beach.This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working on distributed systems, cloud architecture, C++/Python, and modern DevSecOps rather than just maintaining existing code.What you’ll be working on:• Ground software for satellite systems• Architecture for a containerized, cloud-deployed mission planning system• Distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture• C++, Python, and potentially Java• CI/CD, automated testing, and DevSecOps• Linux development with Git• Technical design, code reviews, and architecture decisions• Working directly with systems engineers, developers, and product ownersWhat I’m looking for:• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience depending on education• Strong C++ and Python skills• Advanced object-oriented programming experience• Experience designing distributed systems• Linux + Git experience• Active TS or SCI clearance• Ability to obtain SCI clearance• US CitizenshipBig pluses:Kafka, microservices, cloud applications, CI/CD, Docker/containerization, infrastructure as code, Agile/Scrum, RHEL, Java, and DevSecOps.
