Weekend Manager For In-Home Care Agency
Home Matters Caregiving specializes in providing In Home care for the senior population so they may continue to enjoy the comfort and safety of their own home. We strive for excellence both in the care of our clients and in the relationships we have with our staff. We are looking for a strong candidate to assist with managing our weekend staff and clients.
Routine Duties
Manage all incoming calls Saturday and Sunday 8:30-5:30pm from home.
Answer phones in a friendly, professional attitude.
Return all voicemails within 30 minutes.
Check email and phone messages every 30-60 minutes.
Be knowledgeable of Home Matters Caregiving Policies and Procedures.
Be knowledgeable of services provided by our agency to manage prospects.
Be well versed in the Employee Handbook and be able to refer to it when staff have questions or aren't following proper procedures.
Refer any urgent client or staff issues to responsible manager for follow-up on Monday.
Manage caregiver/client schedules for all HMC clients utilizing Clearcare
Be available to fill a caregiver shift in the event of a no-show and a replacement is not available.
Qualifications
Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate confidently and interact with people in a way that puts them at ease over the phone.
Proficiency in basic computer software programs.
Ability to perform multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
The ability to multi-task and problem solve is a critical skill.
At least 1 year experience in administrative capacities, with experience relevant to scheduling, customer service, and computer operation.
Experience in the home care field as a caregiver.
Must have own smartphone.
Minimum education: High school diploma or GED;
Ability to pass required pre-employment assessments and criminal background test
Able to provide the utmost professionalism over the phone when dealing with client issues, families and staff members.
