Manual Machinist
Job Description
Adjuvo Technologies is looking for a qualified manual machinist to support our growing business. Small Run, High Complexity, Interesting machining requiring creative tooling, fixturing and approaches. Will provide some mentoring to less experienced machinists wtih strong desire to grow in responsibility. Minimum of 3 years and basic machinist tools required. Responsibilities:Set up and operate manual mills, lathes and other machining equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawingsUse precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers to ensure accuracy of machined partsPerform routine maintenance on machines and equipmentInspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessaryCollaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining processFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaExperience:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manual machinist - Proficiency reading drawings and blueprintsExperience with fabricating complex geometries requiring unique tooling and fixturingProficiency in using hand toolsGood understanding of machining principles and techniques - Basic math skills for measurements and calculationsWill require common tool of the tradePerfect position for machinist looking for low volume, high complexity and diverse fabrication requirements.Air-conditioned facility9-80 Work schedule with alternating Fridays off.9 paid holidays, PTO, Dental, Vision, STD, Life Insurance and Group Health Insurance through Aetna.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceCompany DescriptionAdjuvo Technologies is a leader in the design and manufacture of hardware and equipment used to support the training and simulation industry.Company DescriptionAdjuvo Technologies is a leader in the design and manufacture of hardware and equipment used to support the training and simulation industry.
