We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in Emergency Medicine for a locum tenens opportunity. Job Details Start Date: May 12, 2025 (credentialing process: 90-120 days) Duration: 13 weeks with potential for extension Schedule: Coverage includes scheduled shifts with no call requirements. Shift times include various day and night options (e.g., 7 AM-1 PM, 10 AM-10 PM, 3 PM-2 AM). Flexibility is required, including some night shifts. Patient Volume: Average daily census ranges from 1.5-2.5 patients per hour. Annual volumes vary from 31,000 to 63,000 visits. EMR System: Epic Requirements Licensure: Valid Virginia State License (no new licenses offered for this role). Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) DEA license and Virginia CSR Experience: At least two years of clinical logs required. Proficiency with Epic and comfort in high-paced environments. Additional Documentation: Immunization records for MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Tetanus, Hepatitis B, and COVID.
