Veterinary Assistant

Countryside Veterinary Hospital is located in Toney, AL, just minutes from Huntsville. We are seeking a veterinary assistant or technician who has had hands on experience within a hospital. Certification is a bonus but is not required. Drawing blood, running labwork, placing catheters and working appointments are just a few of the required tasks. References and previous work history are required. Hourly pay rate will be based upon level of experience. This is a full time position that requires a schedule that includes every other Saturday morning and a weekend rotation (Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon) about once every 8 weeks. The most qualified candidates will have the following characteristics: - First and foremost, you must have a passion for animals.
