Apprentice Electrician - San Angelo, TX

We are currently seeking skilled Apprentice Electricians in the Greater San Angelo, TX to join our team for an upcoming electrical construction project.This is afull-time position for a project expected tolast approximately 4 months and can continue with travel after if after project completion.We can hire for just the 4-month project orComplete the 4+month project and travel with us full-timeWork will begin on-site in San Angelo, TX. With additional projects available in surrounding states for those open to travel after project completion.Travel and Airbnb are paid along with per diem and mileage (drive time included) when working on out-of-town projects.Compensation:$30.00 - $38.00 per hour pending experience and active state electrical license.Travel is fully paid if you choose to travel after this project completion.Duties / Expectations:Must have experience and ability to leads small to medium size projects (2-4 electricians)Expert knowledge of electrical theoryUnderstands and applies NEC code knowledgeAdvanced understanding of NEC calculationsAble to perform any type of bend with all bender typesInstalls raceways, boxes, and cablesAssist with wire pulling activitiesInstalls light fixtures, devices, and cover platesAssists with installation of switchboardsInstalls panels, breakers, and transformersConnects branch circuits including terminations and panels and equipmentPerforms basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systemsBasic knowledge of various control systems and componentsReads and interprets blueprints and schematicsPerforms other related duties as requiredRequirements:High school diploma or GEDFormal trade school or apprentice program completion preferred8000+ Hours of electrician experienceMust have experience and ability to lead small to medium size projects (2-4 electricians)Valid state issued Driver's LicenseCurrent state Electrical Apprentice license preferredWhen required by State Licensing entityCurrent OSHA 10 certificateAbility to pass a criminal background checkWhat We Offer:Medical/Dental/Vision/401KOvertime potentialHousing and Per diem paid while traveling.Paid Time OffPaid travel back home every 3 weeksHoliday PayWeekly PayJob Type:Full-TimeFull-Time TemporarySee all our openings at Knight Electric here.Knight Electric is a family owned, nationwide company offering a wide range of commercial lighting and electrical services.
