This role involves working throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure applications. The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of multiple programming languages, architectures, and database technologies, with the ability to analyze existing applications and formulate innovative logic for new solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and technology partners, is essential to align technical implementations with strategic objectives.QualificationsThe preferred candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data is required. Candidates with an advanced knowledge of two or more modern programming languages, experience working with APIs, external services, and both relational and NoSQL databases will be prioritized. For more experienced professionals, a background of 8+ years and familiarity with IBM Rational Tools are advantageous. Strong understanding of security standards, including Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance, is also desired.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain moderately complex code using both front-end and back-end programming languages across multiple platforms, collaborating closely with business and technology teams to deliver robust software solutions.Design, create, and document program specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards. Support multiple projects by analyzing requirements, developing logic, and debugging applications.Perform comprehensive testing, validation, and troubleshooting of complex code, recommending corrective measures and systemic improvements to enhance system reliability and security.Participate in client-facing meetings, vendor discussions, and joint venture initiatives to determine optimal solution approaches, ensuring technical feasibility and strategic alignment.Advise leadership on the development and enforcement of application standards, controls, procedures, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance with security and operational policies, including PCI standards.Develop resource estimates and billable hours for complex initiatives, assisting in project planning and management.
