Right Price.Title: Packaging Technician - Second ShiftDuration: 6 Months ContractLocation: 35500 West 91st Street, DeSoto, KS 66018Shift Schedule: 1:30-10pmPay rate- $ 18.00/hr on W2Position Summary• Under direction of the Supervisor, work on a fast paced, team oriented line performing production procedures in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)• Operate production equipment, maintain documentation accuracy, and support sanitation activities within Packaging DepartmentResponsibilities• Operate production equipment, including start up, minor adjustments, and quality monitoring as required• Responsible for complete and accurate documentation• Clean and sanitize work areas as necessary, in accordance with SOPsQualificationsEducation:• HS Diploma or equivalent requiredSkills:• Analytical, scientific, and mechanical trouble shooting skills• Good written and verbal communication skills• Good computer skills• Strict attention to detail and safety• Ability to lift 25 pounds on an intermittent basis• Working knowledge of aseptic technique• Understanding and awareness of USDA regulations, SOP's, and SPP'sWhy Work With Us?We believe in more than just jobs—we build careers.
