THIS IS A HYBRID REMOTE - 3 DAYS ONSITE PER WEEKFULL-TIME / DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY ONLYNO VISA SPONSORSHIP NOW OR IN THE FUTURECLIENT WILL NOT CONSIDER ANYONE THAT DOES NOT CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE DFW AREAThis rapidly growing Healthcare company is seeking a SQL Server Database Developer that will play a primary role in all aspects of the Information Technology Department including database analysis, query writing, creation of stored procedures, SSIS packages, SQL jobs, and data movement.RequirementsDuties and ResponsibilitiesCollaborates to define projects, develops and interprets business rules, and debugs technical issues when they ariseApplies business and database analysis skills to gain deep understanding of user’¬s needsAids in the definition and creation of solutions that meet user’s needsDevelops custom database objects, stored procedures, functions, and T-SQLDesigns and implements SSIS packages and other ETL processesEffectively communicates project status and planning activities with team and customersTroubleshoots slow performing queries and database serversProvides support for off-hour deployments and production issuesParticipates in off-hours support rotationRegular and predictable attendanceConsistently demonstrates compliance with HIPAA regulations, professional conduct, and ethical practiceMaintains work area in a clean and orderly condition and ensures safe operating conditions within area of responsibilityWorks to encourage and promote Company culture throughout the organizationOther duties as may be assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent10 +years of SQL Database Development experienceSQL Server 2008 or higher, T-SQL development (writing/debugging complex stored procedures/functions)Design DB (understanding relationships, design, ERD, normalization) (DDL) Data Definition Language ( creating db objects tables, views, functions, etc) (DML) Data Manipulation Language (creating complex queries to manipulate data) SSIS development and deploymentData Warehouse Development/ Dimensional Modeling a plusDatabase Administrator roles (security, backup/restore, server/system maintenance) experience a plusHealthcare information experience preferredSSAS experience preferredWorking with end users to gather/understand requirements
