This role is hands-on and customer-facing, focused on building pipeline, winning new business, and expanding share of wallet with assigned accounts. It is an excellent opportunity for a proven API sales or business development professional who enjoys deal-making, market hunting, and closing opportunities with leading pharmaceutical customers.How You'll Drive GrowthDeliver against defined sales targets for assigned accounts and territoriesProactively identify, qualify, and convert new API business opportunitiesAnalyze customer portfolios to expand existing relationships and uncover cross-selling opportunitiesDevelop new customer relationships through targeted market analysis and outreachLead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, and execution of commercial and development agreementsMaintain a strong pipeline through regular customer visits and territory coverageCoordinate closely with internal teams (customer service, supply chain, finance, marketing) to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfactionBuild strong product and market knowledge, understanding customer requirements, competitive offerings, and positioning TAPI APIs to win business.What You BringBachelor's degree required; scientific background (Chemistry or similar) preferredApproximately 8-10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including solid experience in API sales or business developmentDemonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive API environmentStrong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skillsAbility to assess opportunities quickly and execute with commercial disciplineUnderstanding of pharmaceutical markets, API competition, and basic trade dynamicsWillingness to travel approximately 25-30%, primarily within North AmericaQualificationsAdditional InformationMake Your Mark with TAPIYour journey with TAPI is more than a job-it's an opportunity to make a lasting impact on global health.
