Temporary Shipping & Receiving CoordinatorWe are looking for a Temporary Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team. The Temporary Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all the shipping, receiving, and put-away activities.Key Results AreaShippingPrepare paperwork and assemble orders for shipmentResponsible for shipping freight, conventions, and normal ordersWork with shipping companies to schedule trucksPrepare packing lists and bills of lading (BOL) via the manifest systemCreation of export documentation for international shipmentMaximize load density and efficienciesReceivingVerify receipts and orders for accuracy, count and note damage exceptions on the bill of ladingUpdate all reports necessary to track receiving metricsSchedule receiving appointments and update the appropriate formsResponsible for handling incoming returned materialsUpdate the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with transactionsReport any discrepancies as necessaryComplete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentationAssist team members in meeting and exceeding customers' expectationsUpdate supervisor and team lead on issues or concernsParticipate in process improvement by communicating with supervisor and team leadMaintain a clean and safe work areaSupport and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices, and work instructionsAll other duties as assignedSkills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED is required, OR three (3) years of relevant warehouse experiencePC skills, specifically, Microsoft Word and Excel, are requiredPrevious experience working in a warehouse using a WMS is requiredStrong math, analytical, and reading skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and time management skillsPhysical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds, carrying, bending, sitting, stretching, and standing for long periodsXPDEL, Inc. is committed to an inclusive workplace that does not discriminate against race, nationality, religion, age, marital status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.
