Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Duties Planning and managing logistics for both foreign and domestic shipments Track and report inventory and deliveries Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, damages Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments Scheduling and coordination with our outside machine shop Manage the air and ocean shipments from our foreign suppliers Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements Prepare accurate reports for upper management Prepare paperwork that is necessary to ship goods to our foreign customers (Customs paperwork) Filing claims for UPS Ground and Freight should shipment issues arise Monitor Harmonized Tariff Codes, updating in database as required Negotiate freight rates with carriers and vendors to secure cost-effective transportation solutions Experience Proven experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management within transportation industries Hands-on experience related to Harmonized Tariff Codes Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of port regulations such as Port State Control standards is highly desirable Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering excellence in logistics!
