Mortgage Underwriter

Mortgage Underwriting Responsible for underwriting residential real estate files for the Mortgage Department. This includes reviewing loan applications and DU findings, analyzing an applicant s income and assets, credit reports, title insurance commitments, and property appraisals. Underwrites in compliance with investor guidelines, regulatory requirements, and bank policies and procedures. Other mortgage related duties Responsible for collecting, reviewing, and reporting HMDA data as required by CFPB; assist with delivery of loans to FNMA; complete check back on Participation input; provide back up and support to Servicing Specialist; complete monthly reports and GL reconciliations
