Sports and Child Development Volleyball Coach

SuperTots Sports Academy is actively hiring Youth Sports and Development Coaches for our Newton location. Looking for a job where you can make a difference? Candidate is someone that can teach sports programs like baseball, basketball, and soccer. Must thoroughly like working with 18 months through 5-year-old age group. A coach will be able to work independently and manage children in a class setting. Ideal part-time job with great hourly pay and awesome intrinsic rewards working with children. Shift Schedule We are looking for coaches who can work with us throughout Fall and potentially into the Winter and Spring. The ideal candidate will be available to work during afterschool hours during the week. Program Overview: Skyhawks Sports Academy is a franchisor of child development programs that uses a variety of fun games to delight and engage kids in physical activity. The curriculum is professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness, and create self-confidence in young children. It stresses a non-competitive environment and promotes fun above all else. Successful candidate will be highly motivated, outgoing, patient, works well with kids ages 18 months to 5 years old in a class setting. Must be able to drive to multiple class locations in the Newtown area throughout the week, have excellent communication skills, and provide superior customer service. Job Description: ~ Programming is held outdoors and indoors ~ Light administrative duties. ~Sports background helpful, but not the main consideration. Job Responsibilities: -Be a great communicator and work closely with your Program Director and fellow Coaches -Assist with program planning and implementation -Help setup equipment and prepare participant giveaways -Lead instruction with a group of participants throughout the entirety of the program -Cultivate positive camp/program environment for all participants All staff are expected to commit to the full duration of assigned programs!
