Our Quality team is currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join us at our headquarters in Pennsauken. The Inspector is responsible for performing assigned test/inspection, calibration and product verification activities in accordance with the prescribed procedures/instructions, and documenting the results of these activities in accordance with QMS requirements.Key Roles & Responsibilities:Perform test/inspection activities at prescribed intervals and frequencies, in accordance with provided instructions.Complete test/inspection activities using the appropriate, calibrated test/inspection devices.Ensure test/inspection devices that are past due for calibration are immediately removed from use.Document results of test/inspection activities in accordance with applicable procedures/instructions.Identify and segregate nonconforming product in accordance with Control of Nonconforming Product procedure.Document calibration results in the database, and label devices according to calibration status.Report any out of tolerance test/inspection devices to the device owner and Inspection Supervisor.Collect test/inspection devices for outside calibration. Prepare and assemble documentation for First Article Inspection.Promote a Quality-Focused culture.Actively and continually seek opportunities to improve test/inspection methods, by reducing effort and/or increasing efficiency.Assist with Final Inspections, receiving Inspections, and Ship TodaysPerform first piece and in process inspections.Additional Responsibilities:Assist with identifying and resolving HSE isssues.Assist in the creation of procedures and work instructions, as needed, for QC activitiesEducation, Experience, Skills & Abilities:Ability to read and understand blueprint/engineering drawings.Understanding and working knowledge of GD&T.Experience reading and understanding customer specifications.Proficient at test/inspection techniques and methods.Proficient in various inspection equipment, to include an optical comparator.Experience with hand gage calibration.Working knowledge of ISO-9001:2015, AS9100D, and/or API Q1.Strong communication skills – verbal & written.Attention to detail, critical thinker, problem-solving skillsTeam player / ability to work well in a team environmentProficient in SmartCerts and Quantum documentation systems is a plus.Proficent in Microsoft Office.Company DescriptionManufacturer with more than 30 years of experience in the Aerospace supply chain.Our facility in Pennsauken is set up to manufacture AN, MS, NAS and OEM bolts to print.Company DescriptionManufacturer with more than 30 years of experience in the Aerospace supply chain.
