BRIC builds Brooklyn's creative future.About the Seasonal Membership Associate Role:BRIC seeks a qualified Seasonal Membership Associate to support events during BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn, located at the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park. During the events, duties will include creating an excellent visitor experience, preparing the site for each performance, ensuring smooth operation of entrances/exits, and handling audience concerns.What You'll Do in the Role:The Seasonal Membership Associate will be responsible for the following in addition to any other project as assigned by their manager, the Associate Director of Development:Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide pre- and post- event administrative assistance to the Development team, including setting up and breaking down of Member & VIP Check-in and dedicated member tents.Welcome members, partners, board and VIP guests to the Bandshell, keeping detailed attendance records and tracking member count.Identify safety issues, and follow protocols for emergency evacuation plans.Work with BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn team and Development team to coordinate door opening for members and VIPs.Monitor capacity and comfort levels in member tents 1 & 2.Support guests with purchasing or upgrading membership as well as making onsite donations.Maintain accurate records of performances as requested - including contributing member head count, donation update, and overall assessment of check-in to nightly event report.Assist guests with obtaining ADA/special seating needs.Occasional support for events at BRIC House may be required.Other Things to Know:Compensation: $20 hourlyTime Commitment: 10-12 hours per week during the BCB season (pending final concert schedule); typically 1-2 days per week; includes SaturdaysStatus and location: Part-time seasonal, Prospect Park BandshellMission & Values: BRIC is committed to building Brooklyn's creative future.
