Sous Chef — New Restaurant Opening📍 Upscale Casual Dining | High Volume | Scratch KitchenWe are opening an exciting new restaurant, and we are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our leadership team.This is an opportunity to help build a high-performing culinary culture from the ground up while working alongside a passionate team committed to culinary excellence and exceptional guest experiences.Key responsibilities include:• Leading and supervising kitchen operations in a high-volume environment• Coaching, developing, and motivating BOH team members• Maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation standards• Managing food safety, sanitation, inventory, and waste control• Supporting labor and food cost management goals• Assisting with ordering, inventory, and kitchen organization• Working the line during peak service periods while leading by exampleRequired Experience• Current Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a casual or upscale casual restaurant• Minimum 1 year of kitchen management or Sous Chef experience• Experience in a high-volume scratch kitchen environment• Experience managing high volumes • Strong tenure and career stabilityQualifications• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop diverse teams• Solid understanding of labor, food cost, and kitchen financials• Excellent communication and leadership skills• Culinary degree or certification preferred• Flexibility to work extended hours based on business needsIf you are passionate about hospitality, thrive in fast-paced kitchens, and want to be part of an exciting new opening, we’d love to connect.
