Production Coordinator

Job Description:Description of Role:The Production Coordinator works with the Production Lead to manage the on-shift production team, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and output standards in a GMP food manufacturing environment. This role drives continuous improvement by developing and training operators to properly execute standardsWhat are we looking for?Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience training or coaching others in a manufacturing environment.Proficient in computer software’s including MS Office and email.Physical Requirements:Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hoursCapable of working in hot, cold and wet conditionsProficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.Preferred Qualifications:Technical degree or certifications5+ years’ experience in an automated manufacturing environmentAdvanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Wonderware and/or WeeverExperience with TPM/Continuous Improvement ToolsWhat will your key responsibilities be?Train and coach operators and mechanics on executing standardsDrive process efficiency on production equipmentAct as back up for Production LeadDrive continuous improvement activitiesExperience in data collection and analysisAny ad hoc requestsWhat can you expect from Mars?Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.A strong focus on learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.
