Pulp Warehouse Operator Location: Gila Bend, AZ Position Summary The Pulp Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of pulp materials within the facility. This role supports mill operations by maintaining accurate inventory, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring timely delivery of pulp to production areas. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and store incoming pulp shipmentsOperate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficientlyTransport pulp materials to designated production or storage areasMaintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle countsEnsure proper labeling, organization, and rotation of pulp stockMonitor warehouse conditions to protect material integrity (moisture, damage, contamination)Load and unload trucks in compliance with safety proceduresCommunicate with production teams to meet material demand and avoid shortagesMaintain a clean and organized warehouse environment (5S standards)Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations Qualifications High school diploma or GED requiredPrevious warehouse or industrial experience preferred (paper mill experience a plus)Experience operating forklifts or clamp trucks requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, industrial environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic computer skills for inventory tracking systemsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended period Work Environment Industrial paper mill setting with exposure to noise, dust, and moving machineryIndoor and outdoor work depending on warehouse layoutMay require working rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Sofidel America Corp. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
