Wound Care PA/NP/MD
Overview
Wound Docs is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate wound care physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or medical doctor to join our specialized wound care team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment focused on advanced wound management and patient-centered care in the skilled nursing facility and home setting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in wound treatment, including excisional debridement, PEG tube/G tube replacement and removal, wound vac management, and amniotic skin graft application and management. Familiarity with EMR system Wound Ally is preferred.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive wound assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating wound debridement and nonsurgical cleansing
Document all patient encounters accurately using Wound Ally EMR.
Provide patient and family education on wound care techniques
Experience
1-2 years of advanced wound care is required
Wound care certification is preferred
Compensation
$500-$1000 per day based on experience and licensure.
Malpractice insurance will be provided.
